Uluhal (Fenugreek) | 100g | 250g
Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) is also known as Greek hay in English and Uluhal in Sinhala. In India it is called Methi. The herb is widely used in cooking because it adds a unique flavor to food, is an appetizer, and gives a good aroma to curries. However, its oil is used as a fungicide to protect food.
The ancients advised that roasted beans should be roasted before being added to curries. It tastes and smells better than the raw version. The seeds contain vitamins A, B1, C, iron and minerals.
